We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and motivated Paralegal or Legal Assistant to join our team. Whether you are an experienced legal professional or someone looking to build a long-term career in the legal field, we are interested in speaking with candidates who are eager to learn and make a difference.
Experience Level: Experience in elder law, estate planning, probate, special needs planning, or real estate is helpful but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate. Starting at $20-$24+ per hour, based on experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
You will work closely with attorneys, staff, clients, financial professionals, and court personnel while helping manage matters from start to finish. Responsibilities include:
- Drafting estate planning, probate, and real estate documents
- Preparing and filing court pleadings
- Assisting with MassHealth applications and qualifications
- Managing client matters and deadlines
- Communicating with clients and families
- Scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars
- Maintaining electronic and physical files
- Opening client matters and client portals
- Coordinating with courts, agencies, and professionals
Position Details
- Full-Time
- Office hours are 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday excluding holidays
- In-Person Position
- Valid Massachusetts driver’s license and reliable transportation required

Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree, or equivalent professional experience
- Experience in a law office, customer service, banking, healthcare, social services, or another professional environment
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Comfortable learning new technology, including Teams, Zoom, and legal software
- Experience in elder law, estate planning, probate, special needs planning, or real estate is helpful but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
